Meet Hawk:
As a young man, Hawk joined the military services as a Marine. After his service, he returned to work at his father’s meat market, until he was around 30 years old. From there, Hawk went into flight school where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation and then flew for commercial airline companies for 23 years. He’s a father of two daughters and he grandfathers five lovely little ones – so far.
Hawk fell in love with Camas and it’s neighboring communities and bought a home in downtown Camas area. Soon after retiring from commercial aviation, Hawk then decided to take his knowledge, craftsmanship and extensive experience in meat smoking and opened his very own smoked meat shop – SmokieRiver Smoked Meats.
He's down at the smoke shop six days a week - come say hi to him and all the girls!

Owner & Operator - Hawk Rolewicz developed this popular meat market - SmokieRiver Smoked Meats and opened its doors for business in the month of May of 2022, with approximately 750 square feet of space to serve Camas, Washougal & East Clark County communities and it visitors.
Hawk’s Experience in the Meat Market Industry:
Hawk’s father, Bob Rolewicz, opened a very popular meat market in NW Washington about 40 years ago. Hawk grew up working with his father and his brother John in the shop for years and learned the craft and trade from their father.
